Gin Ricky

Gin Ricky is straightforward and simple, but also subtle, much like the writing of F. Scott Fitzgerald. It's mentioned in the Great Gatsby, which influenced the style of this painting.
 
Each Abstract Spirit painting stems from a weekly jazz session with friends in which we tried a new cocktail before playing. The paintings are based on my experience with the flavors of the drinks and the different times I've enjoyed them.
