Manhattan

A straight shooter, dark and complex. It's strong but subtle and smooth, with undertones of sweetness and herbs. Favorite of our neighbors Dave & Lois growing up, I will always associate the strength of this drink with their loving relationship.
 
Each cocktail painting stems from a weekly jazz session with friends in which we tried a new cocktail before playing. The paintings are based on my experience with the flavors of the drinks and the different times I've enjoyed them.
